The Master consists of 27 compulsory ECTS and 24 optional ECTS plus the TFM (9ECTS).
- It is divided into 5 modules, Module I (4ECTS) of scientific and introductory update and Module V (9ECTS) is the TFM and the subjects of the master are in Module II, III and IV (47ECTS) with 23 compulsory ECTS and 24 optional ECTS of specific subjects of the master.
It is important to keep in mind that:
- Our students must take the compulsory subjects and 3 electives of Module II (Basic Biomedical Research) for a total of 20 ECTS (11 OB+9 OP).
- Students must take the compulsory subjects and 3 optional subjects of Module III (Advanced Therapies and New Technologies in Biomedicine) for a total of 21 ECTS (12 OB+9 OP).
- In Module IV of Personalized Medicine, being a module with its own identity and constantly updated, you will have to choose 2 subjects (6 ECTS) within the 4 electives, which will allow you to have an adequate training in this field.
Regarding the Master's TFM , it will be carried out experimentally in the laboratory of one of the research groups of the Master's professors. During the academic year students work on the TFM project in a research laboratory where they will learn to apply the knowledge acquired and the techniques necessary to carry out the work. The distribution of the modules is symmetrical with respect to the electives, since in each module of specific subjects there are 50% of subjects to be selected by each student and all the electives are of 3 ECTS so that it will be very easy for the students to orient their curriculum.
The structure is shown here in an outline:
